Of course there are, beside museums like the Picasso-Museum, a lot of different restaurants and bars worth to be visited. But if you want to cook by yourself in the well-equipped common kitchen, the market “la Boqueria” will inspire you with its huge offer of fruits, vegetables, fish and meat.

For calm evenings a walk to the old harbour, the Port Vell might just be the right thing. Within less than 10 minutes walking distance you can enjoy the sea-air on the port promenade. Thence, it is not far to the city’s beach “la Barceloneta”.
